Scientific interest: I am interested in investigating the radioresistance mechanisms in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC). My research aims to study the modulatory effects of small molecules (bioactive natural/modified phytochemicals) on various models of radioresistant HNSCC. The project encompasses the development of radioresistant models of Head and Neck cell lines, Head and Neck primary tumor-derived cells, and spheroids and exploring the modulatory effect of small molecules. This work will enhance our understanding of new mechanisms and prognostic markers, ultimately leading to improved therapeutic outcomes for HNSCC.
