Dr. Dhanir Tailor

Position: Assistant Staff Scientist, at Knight Cancer Institute, OHSU, Portland, Oregon, US

Fellowship: Postdoctoral research Fellow at Oregon Health & Science University

Scientific interest: Cancer Biology and Chemical Biology, Small Molecule Drug Development for Targeted Therapy. I completed my Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Central University of Gujarat, India in 2016. A primary focus of my thesis work was directed towards understanding the effect of physiological concentrations of butyric acid on human colorectal cancer (CRC) cell death and mitochondrial dynamics. Currently I am working to develop radio-sensitizers, and small molecule probes to study treatment resistance.
