Scientific interest: DNA-repair activation is a major obstacle in the therapeutics resistance development. DNA repair pathways have been critical targets for chemotherapy drugs in clinical settings. Cancer cells deals with the DNA damage via activation of DNA repair mechanism. We are interested in exploring the mechanistic insights involved in evolved mechanisms in tumour cells to ensure rapid proliferation and survival of cancer cells.
