Scientific interest: My research work focused on chemoprevention of liver cancer which involved examining the efficacy of novel phytochemicals using various pre-clinical models of liver cancer, and associated mechanisms of action, especially apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell signal- modulatory effects. Further, as a Research Associate, I explored the chemoprevention method of breast cancer and its association with miRNAs in both in vitro and in vivo models.
