Scientific interest: My Ph.D. research work focused on chemoprevention of liver cancer which involved examining the efficacy of novel phytochemicals using various pre-clinical models of liver cancer, and associated mechanisms of action, especially apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell signal-modulatory effects. Further, as a Research Associate III, my research focuses on the effect of ayurvedic formulation on molecular determinants of Rheumatoid arthritis using in vivo genetic and chemically-induced preclinical animal models.
