Position: Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology, JNU, New Delhi

Scientific interest: Dr. Virendra Singh presently working as an Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology, JNU, New Delhi, has expertise in the area of Cancer Genomics. Previously, Dr. Singh has also been associated with Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, as Scientist-II in the Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU). He did his doctoral research from CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow and had also been associated with ICMR-National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi for his postdoctoral research before joining Prof. Rana P. Singh’s laboratory as UGC-Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow.
