Scientific interest: My research interest is inclined towards investigating the effect and mechanism of different phytochemicals to target the cancer cells as well as immune cells in the tumor microenvironment. As the immune cells, including macrophages, T-cells, and fibroblasts, play an important role in cancer progression, my research work is focused on targeting the cancer cells, immune cells, and their interaction in the tumor microenvironment, which will aid in the discovery of promising immune-therapeutic options for cancer. Additionally, we are trying to delineate the mechanism of action of some ayurvedic formulations in autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis.
